The World Accreditation Day is a global initiative that was established by International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) to promote the importance of accreditation. This day is celebrated every year on 9 June, and similarly, the World Accreditation Day 2022 will be observed on Thursday, 9 June 2022. The International Accreditation Forum, Inc. (IAF) is a world organisation that started recognising 9 June as World Accreditation Day.
The EA Certification Committee has now published its list of Frequently Asked Questions on the EA website. The FAQs originate from questions raised and answered at each EA Certification Committee meeting, the list will be updated as the answers to questions at subsequent meetings are finalised. It is important to re-emphasize that the answers, which give the consensus view of the Committee, are intended for informational purposes and should not be used as official guidance for the implementation of the requirements of the standards concerned.
